Edward C. Turner

Pastor/TEACHER

Edward Charles Turner, is an anointed teacher, preacher, and Pastor.  Rev. Turner is a proud graduate of West Side High School in Gary, Indiana.  

Rev. Turner obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Chicago Baptist Institute and his Master of Divinity degree from Northern Theological Seminary.

Rev. Turner is President of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Baptist State Convention of Indiana; Immediate Past President of the Baptist Minister Conference of Gary and Vicinity and 1st Vice-President of the Progressive National Baptist Convention, where he serves on the National Board of Education and Publication for the Congress of Christian Education. He also serves as a Chaplain for the Gary Police Department and is proudly a lifetime member of the NAACP.  

Rev. Turner loves God and His people! He finds great joy in teaching and preaching the Word of God.

Before his appointment to New Revelation, he served as Pastor of the New Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Gary, IN, for a little under ten years.

On the first Sunday in March of 2016, he became the proud Pastor of New Revelation M.B. Church in Gary, IN. Pastor Turner is the founder and CEO of E.C.T. Ministries LLC, a ministry that promotes the principles of Excellence, Commitment and Teamwork among individuals, through leadership seminars, printed media and mentoring programs for youth.

Rev. Turner is a loving son, brother and father.

He lives by the motto, “Don’t let the day make the difference in you, you make the difference in the day”.
